A Solitary Tear

A solitary tear
Pierces her soul
And the bloodletting
A solitary tear
A profusion
Of blood
Into all chambers
Of her heart,
A profound hemorrhage
By science,
But forever changing
Her chemistry
Her psyche,
Now fragile
From that solitary tear.
His tears are hidden
From view
Tucked away
Amidst her books
In a corner
In the dark,
Amidst a flickering
Of a lone candle
But there
They must be ,
Those solitary
